Three threads, one weave

Together, they allow you to make deep, behavioral changes.

Internal Family Systems

The parts we exile through trauma are our shadows, and learning how to honor their protectors is key to moving past fight, flight, freeze or appease responses. Only then are we ready for building capacity.

Family Constellations

A profound group process where people stand in for members of your family or inner system. Patterns passed down through generations become visible, and something that has been stuck can begin to move.

Shadow Work

Turning toward the parts of ourselves we reject, hide, or judge in others. What we embrace becomes a source of energy, safety, and resilience we can carry with us everywhere. This is doorway to a freedom most seekers never touch.

Light and shadow, representing shadow work

Where are you in the work?

Our free shadow work self-assessment is a quiet self-portrait of where you’re standing right now: in your body, with your parts, in your relationships, and with the truths that cost something to tell.

It takes about ten minutes. Your answers stay private on your own device.

Something new

Family Constellations & IFS had a baby

In Internal Family Systems, you come to know the parts of you: the protector, the critic, the one who still feels small. In a Family Constellation, other people step in to represent the members of your system, and the hidden dynamics between them come alive in the room.

We’ve been bringing the two together. Your parts are embodied by others, and you get to witness how they move, what they protect, and what they’ve been waiting for. Seeing your inner world outside of you, alive and in relationship, reaches places that talking about it rarely can.

Hi, I’m Karin.

I guide people back into relationship with all of who they are, especially the parts they’ve learned to push away. My work weaves Internal Family Systems, Family Constellations, and shadow work into experiences that are felt in the body, not just understood in the mind.

I’ve been an educator for the last 20 years. I hold a Masters of Education from Goddard College. I’ve been a student of Somatics for the last ten years, deepening in my practice through my self study in parts work and Family Constellations. I’ve been facillitating constellations for almost 15 years and continue to explore and experiment with colleagues who are therapists. I am so incredibly grateful for parts work, as it was the missing key for healing my deep trauma when my somatic skills were not enough. Shadow work has been the icing on the cake, and again, I’m intensely grateful to those who have paved the way for me.

My teachers:

Thessa Sophia

Gareth Gwyn

Dr Richard Schwartz.

Just Starting Out?

Shadow play helps us bring our own safety with us everywhere. It builds capacity and resilience for the challenges of life by embracing all the parts of you, especially the ones you reject. Learning the basics of IFS is incredibly supportive in the journey to wholeness.
